Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank AGM on Jan 4; to distribute 19% cash dividend

Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited is holding its Annual General Meeting on January 4 next year, which, inter alias, will distribute 19 percent cash dividend to the shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2069/70.

The microfinance company based Kavre district will be holding its 5th AGM in Kathmandu.

Sworojagar Laghu Bitta Bikas Bank Limited had posted a net profit of Rs.35.2 lakh in the last fiscal year 2069/70.

Sworojagar Laghu Bitta went on to report a net profit rise of 317.17 percent in its unaudited first quarterly report for the current fiscal year made public in November.


According to the microfinance development bank with 1.57 crore paid-up capital, it has posted a net profit of Rs 20.73 lakh in the first quarter, up from just Rs 4.96 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year.


The EPS (annualized) of the microfinance stands at Rs 52.81 and per share net worth at Rs 139.26.
