Since the beginning of the new fiscal year, commercial banks’ deposits
have increased by Rs 2 arba. The deposits at commercial banks currently
stand at Rs 10 kharba19 arba. On the last day of previous fiscal year,
commercial banks had Rs 10 kharba 17 arba deposits.
Meanwhile, loans have increased by Rs 3 arba. The banks had disbursed loans of Rs 7 kharba 54 arba by the Asar end, which has increased to Rs 7 kharba 57 arba now.
Though deposits and loans were on decline from the start of the fiscal year, both have shown improvements since the last week.
