Chilime Hydropower Company Managing Director Kulman Ghising from the
post.
NEA was forced to reverse the decision after NEA Trade Union and residents of Rasuwa, where the project is based, opposed the decision.
Energy Minister and NEA Chairman Umakanta Jha had directed Managing Director of NEA Rameshwar Prasad Yadav to remove Ghising and appoint Sunil Kumar Dhungel in his place.
Ghising had the support of trade unions belonging to UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
