Mega Bank Nepal on Monday marked its third anniversary. Having started
its operations from 7th Shrawan, 2067, the bank has become successful in
opening 28 branches and 45 branchless banking outlets across the
country. On the occasion, the bank supported Mahakali Jana Jyoti School
located in Bhujela, Kanchanpur, with Rs 100,000 for reconstruction of
the school building which was devastated by recent floods. The bank has
said it earned a net profit of Rs 24.3 million in the first year of its
operation, Rs 71.8 million in the second year and is expected to show a
satisfactory growth in line with its strategy. According to the bank, it
aims towards positioning itself among the leading banks of the country
and being considered a model bank in the industry.
