Mega IPO update 31 unit shares for Rs 50 k and 36 units for Rs one lakh investors; applications worth Rs 15,000 or below through lottery

Mega Bank has fixed the number of shares to be allotted to different categories of applicants in its Initial Public Offering (IPO).

One of the issue manager official confirmed that each investor in the small category will get 6.2 percent of shares whereas big investors are likely to get 3.6 percent of shares each.

Considering all the factors, small investors are likely to get 31 unit of shares out of their investment of Rs 50,000 and big investors 36 units of shares each if they have invested Rs 1,00,000 amount. Both are approximate figures.

Those who buy up to Rs 50,000 worth of shares fall in the category of small investors, whereas those who have invested more than Rs 51,000 are called big investors.

Likewise, those who had applied for shares worth Rs 15,000 or below will have to count on their luck as they are likely to be allotted shares through lottery.

Maximum shares that would be allotted to those who are selected through the lottery is 10 unit.

The allotment will be announced on Asar 30, and the refund within the first week of Shrawan, likely from 4th of Shrawan.
