Despite making a rally in the
initial moment, the market tumbled its way behind the opening level in
the following hours to suffer a loss of 1.25 points.
The progress of the market was dampened in the latter hours as the presence of buyers in higher level faded away and increased in lower levels.
The market came down to close at 537.08 levels today.
Among, sub-indices, Development rose by 1.46 points alongside 0.76 points climb of Finance sector.
Whereas, Hydro plummeted by 9.98 points followed by Hotels with 9.64 plunge. Similarly, Banking today also dropped by 1.80 points followed by Insurance with 0.20 points decline.
While, Others remained intact at 647.36 levels.
All in all, the scrips of 105 companies were traded, out of which 52 scrips gained, 18 remained intact and 35 scrips lost.
The best performers for the day was, Nerude Laghubita Bikas Bank Limited (NLBBL), closed at Rs 598, with Rs 54 or 9.93% gain.
Whereas, Triveni Bikas Bank Limited (TBBL), closed at Rs 162, was the top loser with Rs 17 or 9.5% loss.
In case of the highest shares traded among mutual fund, Nabil Balance Fund-1 (NIB1), closed at Rs 10.00, topped with 42,449 units. In case of ordinary scrips, Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd. (NBB), closed at Rs 300, topped with 26,094 units.
