Nepal SBI Bank has said its net profit increased by 60.69 percent to
Rs 771 million in fiscal year 2012/13. Organizing a press meet in the
capital, the bank said its Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) stands at 12.39
percent as against the regulatory stipulation of 10 percent.
Similarly, the bank opened 70,338 new saving accounts during the year. According to a statement issued on the occasion, the bank said it aims to achieve better performance indicators by strategic positioning in various verticals of banking and having industry specific focus through its wide network of branches and higher concentration on retail credit.
